Food Allergies
As you may be aware, many factories that produce food products have, for many years, listed ‘may contain’ allergen ingredients on product labels. This tells us that the manufacturer cannot guarantee that a product does not contain a ‘may contain’ product. We have recently noticed that some manufacturers are also adding the following warning –
Our bakers and factories make and prepare food where nuts, peanuts, sesame and other allergenic ingredients are used. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that products produced here will not contain traces of these ingredients.
We serve snacks and teas that are sometimes labelled as above. We will continue to do so unless you tell us that your child has a severe allergy. Please inform the staff in your child’s room, if you do not want your child to eat a ‘may contain’ product.
Nursery Photographer
The nursery photographer will be in nursery on Tuesday 3rd November between 9.00 am – 15.30 pm. There will be a Christmas backdrop to give that festive feeling. Children attending on this date will automatically be taken by staff to be photographed. There is no obligation to purchase photos. You are welcome to provide a change of clothes for your child and staff will change him/ her before and after their shoot. Alternatively, if your child does not attend on a Tuesday and you would like them to be photographed, you can make an appointment via email or the FAMLY app from Monday 19th October. These portraits make lovely keepsakes for grandparents, aunts & uncles and will be delivered to you in plenty of time for Christmas.
Dressing up for Halloween
The staff will be dressing up for Halloween from 26th – 30th October. Your child is welcome to join in the fun and wear “something spooky” during this week.
Christmas Raffle Donations
We will be holding a Christmas raffle in December and would welcome any donations. If you have any unwanted, unopened gifts such as beauty products, smellies, alcohol, Childrens books and games, jigsaws, etc. Our raffle also offers small business the opportunity to boost revenue by donating a voucher. If you are a beautician, nail tec, mobile hairdresser etc. and you donate a voucher, we will promote your company on our website and our Facebook page.

Nativity Play
This year’s nativity will take place in our 3-4 room on December 9th, both morning and afternoon. Times TBC. Tickets will be on sale nearer the time will be limited to 2 tickets per child. Please note that this event is for our 3-4 children only.
