Notifying Us Through the FAMLY App
Please remember to notify us when your child will be absent from nursery via the FAMLY app. Absence because of sickness will only receive a meal and snack refund if reported before 8.15 am on the day of illness. If you are aware that your child will be absent for more than one day, you should inform us on each day of absence, or you can add several dates to one report. Absence due to a holiday should also be added to the app and you will receive a discount on paid for hours when 6 weeks or more notice has been given. There is no discount offered on term time contracts.
Is Your Child Moving Rooms in September?
If your child is moving to an older room in September and you have a term time only booking with us, you can book a settling in session for them during the August holidays, free of charge. This can be arranged with the staff in your child’s room or via email/ FAMLY app.

Tesco Grants Programme
We have been accepted onto the Tesco Grants programme. From 3rd August to the end of November, you will be able to vote for us to win up to a £,1,500 grant by voting for us in the local Tesco Express store in Beighton. Please collect your coins when you pay at the till and vote for Bizzy Bees. Any money given will be put towards new equipment.

Thank you to all who took part in our sponsored search. We raised £390 which will be used to purchase new equipment.
Additional Activities on Offer
Did you know that we offer a lending library in our foyer with a varied range of subjects such as
‘Visiting the Doctor’, ‘Words Are Not for Hurting’, ‘What Are Feelings’, ‘Starting School’, and many other traditional stories. To borrow a book for a week, please speak to the office staff.
Our activity packs are also available to borrow. Activities include
‘Pencil Control’, ‘Mini Beasts’, ‘Farm’, ‘Threading’ and other educational activities.
Our Birthday Bee is also available to take home for birthday parties. Let your child share their party with our Bee and send us photos of the experience.
National Grandparents Week
National Grandparents Day takes place on Sunday 4th October. To mark the occasion, we are inviting grandparents to take part in our stay and play week. This will be held from 28th September – 2nd October, both morning and afternoon. You can book a space from 14th September with the staff in your child’s room. The sessions time are – 9am – 10 am or 13.30 pm – 14.30 pm. You can book a space for a single or both grandparents. Due to the capacity of the nursery, grandparents can only attend on the same session as their child. Grandparents not living locally? Bring mum or dad instead.
