Sensory Room

Sensory Room

Our sensory room offers a cosy, calming space for all age groups. The separate room has been specially designed which combines a range of stimulated equipment to help individuals develop and engage their senses. These include lights, colours, sounds, sensory soft play and resources, all used within a safe environment that allows children using it to explore and interact without risk. The therapeutic space helps children to learn and explore whilst surrounded by a  calming environment.
Our sensory room is particularly beneficial for children with autism, additional sensory needs or other learning difficulties.
Our sensory room is a place to relax, destress and diffuse anxieties which some children may experience during their day at nursery.
Staff either take individuals or small groups of children into the room at a time and help them to explore our wide range of equipment.
